Project Manager - Marketing (Temporary)

Apply locations: Remote - USA | Time type: Full time | Posted on: Posted 3 Days Ago | Job requisition id: R6797

The expected salary range for this position is $32.65 - $40.80. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Compassion International is not responsible for third parties who omit this information when copying and re-posting job openings.

Please note: This is a full-time, temporary position from June 2025 through January 2026.

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to plan, monitor, and manage internal marketing projects from initiation through completion for two of Compassion’s key Marketing channels—either the Supporter Experience team or the Business-to-Business (B2B) team.

These roles are responsible for leading the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, including print collateral, landing pages, email campaigns, and other digital deliverables supporting our KPIs of retention, engagement, and revenue. The Project Managers will secure resources and apply formal project management processes and tools to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and change control.

Working within an Agile methodology, these individuals will facilitate sprint planning, quarterly planning, and other meetings to ensure project alignment and momentum. Proficiency in a project management tool is required—experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus—as the Project Managers will build and maintain project schedules, monitor project health, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

At this career level, the Project Manager operates independently on moderately complex projects or collaborates as a team member on larger initiatives.

What will you do?
  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Act as an advocate to raise awareness of children's needs, understand Christ’s mandate to protect children, and prioritize child protection in all decisions and activities. Follow Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Report concerns of abuse, neglect, or exploitation through internal channels and support responses to incidents.
  • Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
  • Use discretion and judgment to lead or support project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply, and subcontract management on basic projects.
  • Effectively use structured project governance systems to monitor and track deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Apply professional project management skills to plan, monitor, and manage projects from initiation to completion, including developing assignments, schedules, and responsibilities.
  • Provide progress reports, troubleshoot issues, organize team members, and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  • Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions.
  • Ensure project results meet quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements.
  • Offer expertise to other professionals and support staff in project management discipline.
What do you bring?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent education, training, and certification.
  • Three years of relevant experience as a project manager; experience managing marketing projects is strongly preferred.
  • Experience using a project management system, preferably Workfront.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including working in Sprints and backlog refinement.
Why work here?
  • The mission: Join a team motivated to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
  • Spiritual growth: Participate in regular chapel services, prayer groups, and devotionals.
