Job summary

GFL Environmental Services seeks a Project Manager for Liquid Waste Operations in the United States. You will support the specialized services team, partner with BD and account managers to win projects, and help improve safety through new procedures.

Field work, pre-planning, and coordinating contractors are part of the role. You will analyze financials with district leadership, prepare estimates, and deliver technical reports to customers and regulators.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan, prioritize and execute tasks.
• Ability to listen, analyze and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the specialized services team.
• Collaborate with the business development team and account managers to secure project work and ensure customer service.
• Conduct R&D to implement new procedures supporting operations and safety.
• Assist districts with pre-planning, scheduling, asset securement, rentals, subs-contractors, daily tracking, and closure.
• Participate in regular P&L reviews to inform operations strategies.
• Prepare price estimates/quotations for specialized work, including research and writing.
• Prepare technical closure reports for customers and regulators.
• Occasionally participate in field work to support operations.
• Attend meetings as required and review growth opportunities with the District Manager.
• Handle other duties as directed.
