The Project Manager Level II provides outstanding project management to our clients by planning and executing SSIT project management methodologies Key to the role are excellent written and verbal communication skills strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills Project Manager Level II must be capable of multitasking and be able to easily adapt to changing circumstances The role operates with a high level of interactive communication demonstrating high levels of inclusion and cultural sensitivity Partner with business technical and administrative team members to deliver high quality project artifacts that meet established project management standards and business solution needs is essential The ability to listen to complex technical business and project discussions; capture the actions and discussions in a clear complete and well written manner is critical for success in the role An innate sense of urgency and a natural aptitude for detail orientation are required
Project Manager Level II is responsible for the project plan budget structure schedule and staffing requirements for assigned projectsA thorough understanding of agile SDLC methodologies and the project managers role in it including prioritization technical and project risk assessment estimation project timelines value based change control etcManage risks and notify the appropriate client and leadership teams regarding deviations from approved modelscore solutionsCreate and manage project artifacts in prescribed tools Smartsheet ServiceNow and JIRA Cloud based tools with detail and precisionPresent complex data and solutions in a concise manner to both internal and external stakeholdersFacilitate and lead meetings with stakeholders vendors and clients as well as internal team members to identify project functional and technical requirementsAbility to plan and manage their own and other team members activities to meet deliverables and deadlinesBe an effective communicator with business and technical audiences able to present complex technical concepts for non technical stakeholders in both written and verbal formatsExcellent writing and editorial skills ability to process large amounts of information andor data and distill them into relevant messagesThe responsibilities includeoverall coordination leading to the successful completion of approved projectstracking project specific timelines budgets and risksmaintaining detailed project plans in Smartsheetaccurate budget forecasting and actual cost trackingriskissue tracking and mitigationscheduling and facilitation of teamsubteamsteering committee meetingsacting on clients behalf when dealing with third party vendorscomplying with all IT PMO policies and procedures for project planning execution and closeout
Degree in business or computer sciences or a related field requiredMinimum 5 7 Years project management covering systems such as Data Warehousing Master Data Management and Business Intelligence ReportingStrong Microsoft Office computer skills Word Excel PPT VisioAbility to articulate complex concepts in a simple and coherent manner both verbally and writtenProven experience of working with complex integrated systems using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional resultsStrong ability to listen to discussion and capture requirements in meaningful precise manner that can be understood by both technical and non technical participantsAbility to present concepts and lead discussions on design issues with authority and poise This is a client facing roleExceptional critical thinking analytical and problem solving skillsStrong attention to detail both in written and action tasksStrong ability to work independently and adhere to timelinesExperience of virtual collaboration to lead shape and develop innovative solutionsExperience of working with and managing third party suppliersvendorsExperience managing client relationships and negotiating positive outcomes
Place of employment is Remote Business casual attire is required For any remote meetings all employees are required to be on camera with appropriate business casual attire and Slipstream virtual background Appropriate transportation is needed to be on site
Typical schedule will be Monday to FridayOnsite Dallas TX 800 AM to 500 PM Must be flexible to accommodate departmental needs At times overtime maybe needed to accomplish deliverables which could include evenings or weekend hours
This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position often standing or sitting for prolonged periods The ability to move about to accomplish tasks Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions Communicating verbally and written word with others to exchange information Exposure to a standard office environment with average room temperatures with no adverse environmental conditions expected Ability to travel within the continental USA via plane or car required
