Job summary

FIS in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Project Manager Lead to guide large-scale government solutions initiatives, including EBT, SNAP, and payment processing programs. You’ll partner with state agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across the full delivery lifecycle.

You’ll mentor teams, manage risks, and communicate with executives while balancing priorities in a hybrid work model with in-office and remote days. Bachelor’s degree required; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex technology, payments, or government program implementations in a client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of EBT, SNAP, government benefits programs, or related payment processing solutions.
• Advanced expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

About the Role

As a Project Manager Lead , you will lead complex government solutions initiatives supporting EBT, SNAP, and payment processing programs. You will serve as a strategic partner to state agencies and internal stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact projects. This role requires strong client relationship management, leadership across cross-functional teams, and expertise in driving projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
