What We’re Looking For:

Michael Baker International is seeking a Project Manager, Land Development to provide on-site project support near Indiana, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will have a civil background with experience in land development and permitting in the state of PA. They will work on a very exciting and fast-paced project.

Job Description

Under supervision, the Project Manager will assist in planning, directing, performing, and coordinating activities of the designated project to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, funding parameters, and quality standards.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assigning staff to projects, supervising technical/professional staff, reviewing budgets and schedules.
  • Managing personnel needs, maintaining project efficiency, and ensuring task completion within schedule and budgets.
  • Providing guidance and technical advice, evaluating performance, and professional development of staff.
  • Developing and executing design elements including site planning, grading, drainage, utility design, etc.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical proposals and work products.
  • Interacting with internal teams, clients, and other departments.
  • Traveling to project sites as needed; international travel may occasionally be required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in land development and permitting in Pennsylvania.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and maintain client relationships.
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE license.
Compensation

Range: $104,980 - $163,949 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
