Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. in Hercules, California, seeks a Project Manager to lead civil land development projects from entitlements through construction support. You will identify design criteria, plan and execute designs, and interface directly with clients while coordinating with public agencies.

The role also covers business development, proposals, and administrative duties such as invoicing and timecard approvals. Ideal candidates have a B.S.

What You’ll Do as a Project Manager:

• Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs.
• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
• Participate in marketing, business development, lead finding, and pursuit of new work.
• Completion of administrative and finance responsibilities including invoicing, monitoring, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals, and attending required meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
• PE certification required
