Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead civil land development projects from entitlements through construction support. You will identify design criteria, coordinate designs, and ensure quality and schedule are met.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of design experience, and a PE license, with at least 3 years as the central design lead mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• PE certification is required.
• At least 3 years as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for workflow oversight.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify design criteria and plan and execute effective designs.
• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
• Participate in marketing, business development, lead finding, and pursuit of new work.
• Complete administrative and financial responsibilities including invoicing, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals.

What You’ll Do as a Project Manager:

• Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs.

• Completion of administrative and finance responsibilities including invoicing, monitoring, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals, and attending required meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
• PE certification required
