Job summary

PCI Energy Solutions is hiring a Junior Project Manager to support planning and execution of energy production, distribution, and sustainability projects. Under a senior project manager, you’ll assist with scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination, while maintaining clear communication across teams and vendors.

This hybrid role is based in Norman, OK, with flexible hours and opportunities to grow toward independent project ownership. A CAPM/PMP pathway is a plus, and U.S.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years’ experience in project management, coordination, or related function.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT, or related field; CAPM/PMP a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Able to collaborate with others and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; willingness to work in Norman, OK.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties to support project execution.
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Document project scopes, objectives, and stakeholder requirements.
• Track resource availability and create/update project plans.
• Prepare weekly status reports and communicate updates to the project manager.
• Maintain project documentation and manage changes in scope/costs as needed.
• Assist in identifying project risks and coordinate mitigation with senior staff.

A Junior Project Manager at PCI Energy Solutions supports the planning and execution of projects related to energy production, distribution, and sustainability. Working under the direction of senior project management staff, they assist with project scheduling, documentation, resource coordination, and the tracking of budgets and timelines. They also help maintain clear communication across teams, stakeholders, and vendors, ensuring project information stays accurate, current, and accessible as they build toward independent project ownership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors to support the execution of projects.
• Support project teams in delivering projects on‑time, within scope and within budget.
• Help gather and document project scopes and objectives, coordinating with relevant stakeholders under the direction of a senior project manager.
• Assist in tracking resource availability and allocation.
• Maintain project plans and schedules to track progress; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Track and document changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, escalating issues to senior project staff.
• Assist in measuring project performance using PCI prescribed systems, tools, techniques.
• Prepare weekly status reports and communicate updates to the project manager.
• Support communication with clients and stakeholders; assist in maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and monitoring project risks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

• 0-3 years’ experience in project management, project coordination, or a related function; internship or academic project experience will be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or progress toward PMP a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Project a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Must be able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with others to accomplish organizational goals and to help identify and resolve problems.
• Must be committed to customer service and demonstrate appropriate attention to customer needs and requirements when making decision and taking action.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a willingness to learn to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
• Ability to take direction, ask questions, and apply feedback from senior team members and cross‑functional partners.
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Availability to work the Norman Office (Oklahoma).
