Job summary

RJM Construction in Golden Valley, Minnesota, is seeking a project manager intern to support the project management team in delivering safe, on-time, and on-budget projects. You will work across preconstruction, subcontractors, and field management to assist with various phases of the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and ability to read plans and specs; you will gain hands-on experience with scheduling, safety walkthroughs, and project closeout tasks

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• General knowledge of construction methods and CSI codes.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plans, specifications, and documents to understand project scope.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external project stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
• Assist the project manager in updating and delivering project schedules.
• Assist in maintaining accurate as-built documents and project records.
• Support safety walkthroughs and coordination with field teams.

Project Manager Interns will interact across multiple internal departments and roles, including preconstruction, subcontractors, and field management to assist with various aspects of a project lifecycle.
