Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in Alameda, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its PCI Bay Area 555 operations to provide project management support on commercial projects. This role requires 3–5 years of construction management experience, expertise in estimating and managing specialty scopes, and strong communication.

Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to read specifications and drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Construction Management experience in interior construction.
• Experience with estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction (drywall, framing, ACT, etc.).
• Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas that affect profitability, and navigate risks.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel and Word).
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and branch safety measures.
• Create and manage punch lists; ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Prepare RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with field supervisors/foremen; communicate issues for optimal sequencing.
• Perform labor control; monitor job costs.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s; assist in vendor selection.
• Assist in subcontractor buyout, contracts, and change orders.
• Complete monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAW) for cost control.
• Support customer relations through the Customer Alignment Plan.
