Job summary

Ethos in Omaha, NE is seeking a Project Manager for Industrial Manufacturing to oversee end-to-end project delivery across engineering, procurement, and production. You will lead bid management, scheduling, contract review, and resource planning to meet timelines and profitability targets.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing project management, a Bachelor’s degree, and a proactive, autonomous work style. PMP is a plus but not required. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience in Manufacturing/Machinery/Industrial industries.
• PMP is not required but would set a candidate apart.
• Ability to conduct business in a second language would be advantageous, not required.
• Proven PM experience delivering projects on time and within profitability expectations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong time management.
• Autonomous work style and ability to work independently.
• Experience reviewing and modifying contractual terms and conditions.
• Understanding technical requirements related to project management and contracts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Contract management throughout project lifecycle.
• Provide schedule and budget updates to PMO and executives.
• Report variances between progress and baselines.
• Prepare formal documentation in coordination with Engineering and other departments.
• Organize documentation per PMO standards.
• Schedule and facilitate status meetings with project resources.
• Create and implement new project management processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering for internal project PM.
• Bid management including bid schedule, review meetings, and approvals.

Project Manager, Industrial Manufacturing

The Project Manager is responsible for efficiently delivering projects for customers.

Responsible for bid management, schedule creation and management, contract review, and resource planning.

The Project Manager will be required to ensure the timely completion of project activities involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing, service/installation, and accounting.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules that identify deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation
• Perform contract review and contract negotiation alongside Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Market Development Managers
• Contract Management throughout the course of a project
• Provide project updates regarding schedule and budget to the PMO and executive management
• Compare and report the variances between the project progress and the schedule and budget baselines
• Prepare and timely deliver formal documentation for projects in coordination with Engineering and other relevant departments
• Ensure the proper organization of documentation including worthwhile account activities and project information in appropriate programs, as determined by PMO standards
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with the project resources to provide project status updates and review upcoming project work
• Create and implement new project management processes
• Coordinate with Engineering to assist with Project Management for internal projects
• Bid Management including bid schedule, facilitating bid review meetings, and bid approval process

• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of project management experience, must have Manufacturing/Machinery/Industrial industry experience.
• PMP is not a requirement but it would set a candidate apart from others with equal experience.
• The ability to conduct business in a second language (Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin) is not a requirement but would set a candidate apart from others with equal experience.
• Proven Project Management experience including accountability for the coordination and completion of projects on time and within profitability expectations
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time with excellent time management skills
• Ability to function autonomously within job responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience in the review and modification of contractual terms and conditions
• Ability to understand technical requirements related to Project Management and contractual terms
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Office 360 Suites
