Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager for an on-site Denver role. You will own technical and timing aspects of customer projects, coordinating across sales, engineering, and production teams to drive prototypes through to production.

Responsibilities include leading diverse internal teams, managing milestones and costs, and maintaining frequent status updates with leadership. A strong background in manufacturing projects and change management is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • 8–12 years of experience managing technical projects in manufacturing, product development, or engineering environments.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
  • Experience with PLM and ERP systems and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced technical environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to influence with or without authority.
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

  • Support Sales and Applications with taking products from spec to production, including prototypes and production coordination.
  • Support ongoing production programs with engineering or BOM changes.
  • Interface with customers and internal functions to execute new business and build relationships.
  • Own production implementation of targeted business with customers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
  • Act as primary internal/external communications link to ensure alignment.
  • Create and manage program milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track costs and delivery to customer commitments and provide status updates.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans and escalation when needed.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.

Job description

Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Denver, Colorado

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 base salary + 10% bonus.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401k match (6%), Tuition reimbursement, 3 weeks PTO. Benefits start on the first day of the month following hire.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, on-site position.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain all technical and timing aspects of customer projects following the Program Management Process.
  • Support Sales and Application Engineers with bringing targeted products from specification to production – including prototype, production coordination, customer communication, technical review presentations, and closing out to on-going production.
  • Support ongoing production programs with engineering or BOM changes and other related activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Interface with key customers and multiple internal functions to execute new business and build customer relationships.
  • Ownership of the production implementation of targeted business with our customers.
  • Lead and coordinate diverse internal teams (sales, engineering, quality, production) to achieve program goals.
  • Act as the main point of communication between internal teams and the customer, managing relationships and communication to ensure alignment.
  • Responsible for creating and managing program milestones, timeline, and overall deliverables.
  • Manage each projects deliverables, track costs, and delivery to customer commitments.
  • Provide regular and concise updates and reports on program status, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage critical program dependencies and risks, developing comprehensive mitigation strategies and effectively escalating issues when necessary.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and implement process improvements
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for program execution, communication, and relationship management.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of customer product programs, including development, prototyping, production launch, and post-launch support.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Operations.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, costs, and risks.
  • Drive successful implementation of new business opportunities and product launches.
  • Support engineering changes, BOM updates, and ongoing production activities.
  • Track KPIs, provide status updates to leadership, and implement process improvements.
  • Identify program risks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.

Qualifications Seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution required.
  • 8-12 years of experience in managing technical projects within manufacturing, product development, or engineering environments.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid).
  • Experience working with PLM systems, ERP systems, and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technical environment, with multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive change
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence with and without authority
  • Excited to work in the office with great teammates
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification
  • Experience driving rapid development processes for an industrial manufacturer
  • Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA and structured problem-solving tools (8D, A3, DMAIC).
  • Global experience preferred
