Job Overview

The Finance Project Manager position will report to the Manager of Enterprise Systems within the Corporate Controllers organization. This position supports the corporate financial systems applications team with project management and monthly close related activities for Hyperion Planning applications. Includes significant interaction with global finance teams, corporate functions, and business unit FP&A groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects spanning from development of new applications to enhancements of existing applications within the current application environment
  • Projects will be parallel to broader initiatives and ensure execution and alignment
  • Support the project team through requirements, design, build, testing, and implementation
  • Drive all aspects of projects, including collaborating and coordinating across various functional and business segments
  • Define project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, and timeline
  • Keep team and leadership updated on project status and risk factors
  • Project scope includes support for all application maintenance and development of Hyperion Planning applications, HFM, and FDMEE
  • Support with documentation for internal controls, operating procedures, and end user training purposes
  • Assist with monthly close activities including end user support, data validation and application maintenance.
    Works collaboratively and effectively within a team of peers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or MIS/IT
  • Ability to communicate thoughtfully, demonstrating critical thinking skills and a learning mindset to build long-term relationships
  • Comfortable interfacing with all levels in the organization including Senior Management
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management tools; Experience with Hyperion Planning, Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and ERP systems preferred
  • General understanding of financial close and forecasting processes
  • Ability to quickly respond to changes in business scenarios, projects, and resources - adapting accordingly and positively
  • Initiative-taker with a focus on process development and process management
  • Strong business/financial acumen with ability to learn independently
  • Ability to deliver under pressure while balancing multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities
  • Ability to understand and discuss complex system and finance issues
  • Strong organizational, team-building, and people skills

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $95,000 – 140,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
