Project: The Client’s Company is engaged in an ERP Transformation program and is currently upgrading their SAP ECC 6.0 system to a ‘Greenfield’ SAP S/4 HANA system and transforming our processes, data and ways of working as we move from many customizations to SAP standard. This is a long-term solution to their needs to remain a top producing snacking company around the world.

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to manage the changes to applications that will be integrated with Client’s future S/4 environment. Specifically managing contract vendors for a set of the integrated applications as well as the internal Client’s resources required for development, testing, change management, deployment, and Hypercare support. This set of systems being managed may change during the project during two currently planned deployments.

The Project Manager will work with the Client’s Program Manager, Client’s Solution Managers and Integrated Applications Subject Matter Experts to define, project plan and manage the completion of work.

Job Responsibilities

Drive Scope Definition with S/4 and Legacy system stakeholders and System Integration partners, document to Client’s standards, obtain signoffs and utilize ERP change management procedures if scope (or budget) needs to be adjusted.

Prepare project plans in Microsoft Project and use Teams, Sharepoint, Clarity and other tools and methods to drive execution of project activities, adhering to IS Project Office and ERP Project Office standards

Drive Risk and Issue management using RAIDs procedures; create and manage to resolution risks, issues and dependencies and when necessary, escalate conflicts to team leads or the ERP Program Manager

Looking for someone to come in and analyze the requirements, review budget, and plan and execute the project plan

Prepare status reports and submit to the ERP PMO weekly and lead status meetings, adhering to IS Project Office and ERP Project Office standards

Determine the necessary Business and IS Resources (people and funding) to execute the planned work; create and keep updated in the Client’s Clarity system the necessary resource plans and budgets and secure and onboard resources to the project

If additional third party providers are necessary, work with teams to identify resourcing, obtain proposed Statements of Work (SOW) and move the SOWs through Client’s Sourcing and Contracts processes as required

Ensure each Legacy system is tested, with SME and Client’s Solution Manager defining the test requirements

Coordinate requirements and flow of work between S/4 and Legacy teams

Follow Client’s ERP PMO and IS PMO project processes and standards

Record hours performed each week in Client’s Clarity PPM system

Skills

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management (PMP certified), including leading projects, and a minimum of 3 years of experience managing SAP projects

Good experience in S4 Hana with multiple greenfield implementations

Deep understanding and experience with SAP project management of SAP projects

Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills and also problem-solving and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective interactions within cross-functional teams

Proficiency with MS Office suite especially Project, Excel and SharePoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to support interaction with various levels within The Client’s Company

Composure under pressure. self-starter, and collaborative working style

Ability to influence stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple projects and client interactions concurrently (project management and time management skills)

Attention to detail and strong work ethic

Ability to manage an integrated plan across other project components

Ability to monitoring critical path and dependencies

Ability to collaborate with other project managers and program support to ensure program cohesion and work efficiencies

Experience in Agile, particularly SaFE Agile, is a plus

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Very helpful if this person has experience working on multiple things at once- this is essential -- Able to identify issues and generate solutions or request escalation when necessary
