Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex initiatives and ensure delivery within time and budget. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, drive planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder communications across the organization.

The role requires strong presentation and written communication skills, deep knowledge of PMBOK concepts, and PMP is preferred. You will mentor junior project managers and report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum 8–10 years of business experience.
• 5–8 years in project management leading cross-functional projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of PMBOK concepts.
• Ability to navigate political issues.
• Highest level of competency with applying PM techniques, tools and methods.
• Experience with stakeholder and vendor management, risk assessment, communication planning, resource estimating.
• Must have high level of presentation skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present to and communicate with senior management staff.

• Manage all phases of the project to ensure goals and objectives are met within the established time and budget guidelines
• Lead cross-functional team members on projects of significant complexity
• Proactively identify conflict/integration issues and lead team members to parse and synthesize issues of highest complexity
• Accurately estimate and plan resource usage
• Coach and mentor less experienced project managers
• Regularly review status of project and modify schedule as necessary
• Oversee and facilitate project team meetings and prepares status documents periodically throughout the project
• Instruct and coach team members in Project Management techniques
• Facilitate planning sessions
• Effectively resolve roadblocks to project progress
• Influence the owner, sponsor, steering committee and other appropriate senior management
