Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to serve as a Team Lead within our organization. This critical role has responsibility for overseeing large-scale projects, driving strategic initiatives, and leading high‑performing teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of project management experience and at least 5 years of leadership as a team leader. A Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification is required.

This is a role for someone who demonstrates a deep focus on execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to take initiative, anticipate challenges, and develop actionable solutions that align both with project and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage comprehensive project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring delivery is on time and within scope and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of project managers, coordinators, and cross‑functional professionals. Set goals, monitor team performance, and encourage professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors. Manage expectations and resolve conflicts efficiently.
  • Strategic Planning: Align projects with organizational objectives by defining priorities, managing resources, and promoting continuous improvement strategies in project processes.
  • Cross‑Team Collaboration: Work across multiple functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to align priorities, break silos, and ensure seamless coordination. Foster positive relationships across teams to achieve shared goals effectively and efficiently.
  • PMO Methodology Development: Lead the development and implementation of a scalable Project Management Office (PMO) methodology that can be utilized across all business units. Ensure processes, tools, and templates are standardized yet adaptable to the unique needs of different teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project outcomes while maintaining compliance with governance standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, organizational guidelines, and client expectations. Actively review project milestones and handle corrective actions as needed.
  • Empathetic Leadership: Exhibit highly tuned emotional intelligence with a deep‑stated empathy for the needs of teams and partners. Act as good listener, provide team support, and champion collaboration and inclusivity in all aspects of project management.
  • Execution Excellence: Maintain relentless focus on driving execution and delivering measurable outcomes. Ensure accountability at all levels and follow through to see projects achieve their intended results.
  • PMP Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of PMI’s PMBOK, incorporating industry‑leading project management frameworks and processes into team practices.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience managing complex projects and programs across diverse industries; 5+ years of proven experience as a team lead managing cross‑functional project teams.
  • Certifications: Active Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification (mandatory). Additional certifications such as PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI‑ACP®), PgMP®, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Initiative and Accountability: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate potential setbacks, and apply proactive problem‑solving to keep projects on track. A results‑driven mindset balanced with the ability to maintain strong partnerships and team morale.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead project teams with strong motivational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, SAP) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data visualization platforms. Experience with Cora nice to have.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional cross‑team collaboration skills with the ability to align priorities and plans across different functions, organizations, and reporting structures. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, effective decision‑making under pressure, and the ability to cultivate trust and engagement within teams.
