Responsibilities

• Communicates with project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of scope, timeline, and budget.
• Uses project management methodologies to support successful project implementation.
• Coordinates resources and assigns them to project work for duration and proper allocation.
• Creates project timelines, motivates the team, and tracks milestones.
• Provides comprehensive project statuses to stakeholders and leaders.
• Leads issue resolution across departments and escalates when needed to leadership.
• Gathers data and manages the project budget; reports on budget vs. actuals.
• Acts as a thought leader to build a high-performing PMO team and suggests process improvements.
• Provides cross-training and seeks opportunities for personal educational growth.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Communicates with project stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Using project management methodologies and processes to support successful project implementation; provides assistance in using these tools on key projects.
• Works with managers to ensure project resources are assigned to project work for project duration and at the correct allocation.
• Creates a project timeline; motivates team members and takes responsibility for keeping everyone on track; helps team members set targets for milestones and consistently monitors progress.
• Provides comprehensive and clear project statuses to stakeholders and leaders.
• Takes the lead to resolve project issues and discrepancies arising from within various departments and works swiftly and proactively, to escape to leadership in support of resolution, if needed.
• Gathers all relevant data and manages the project budget.
• Reports on project budget versus actuals.
• Acts as thought leader in building a high performing team; reviews PMO processes and offers recommendations for improvement.
• Provides cross training to others within your area of expertise and continues to seek personal educational growth opportunities.
