The Project Manager III will manage medium to high complexity projects, including overseeing vendor implementation, system configuration, and testing coordination within the health insurance field. Remote contract for 8 months with possibility for extension.Key Responsibilities:- Lead projects to successful delivery, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to assign resources, develop schedules, and maintain budgets.
- Oversee project audits and compliance with governance requirements.
- Track and report project progress, risks, issues, and financial metrics.
- Mentor junior project managers and lead project meetings.
- Advocate for and adhere to project management standards, tools, and processes.
- Develop communication and training plans with relevant teams.
- Ensure project closure activities are completed.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and project management software.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage large projects, including those with a budget up to $3.5M.
- Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare payer industry a plus.
