Job summary

Maas Energy Works, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II - Manufacturing to lead fabrication and assembly teams in a dynamic on-site role in Redding, CA. You will develop production plans, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous improvement across shop-floor processes.

You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality control, and efficient materials management, with compensation ranging from $85,000 to $130,000 and full-time hours.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment & assembly line production.
  • Experience with implementing lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Background in project management & process improvement is preferred.
  • Experience with supply chain management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, high-energy team culture for fabrication and assembly teams.
  • Lead fabrication and assembly teams, providing hands-on direction to keep production on schedule.

Position Title: Project Manager II - Manufacturing

Department: GW - Goose Works

Reports to: Goose Works Manager

Compensation: Salary starting range $85,000 - $130,000; Commensurate to Skills and Experience.

Hours: Full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description:

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This role involves leading the fabrication and assembly teams in the field with hands-on, day-to-day direction, collaborating with the fabrication team to create production plans, working closely with the team to maintain smooth operations, and planning production schedules to meet customer demands. This position will help manage materials and supply chain stability, implement quality control procedures, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and work with fabrication team implementing continuous improvement. Effective coordination with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure project success.

Physical Demand Requirements

Work Environment

Physical Demands
