Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking a Project Manager to provide operational oversight for electrical construction projects across the United States.

You will develop schedules, manage field activities, and serve as the main liaison between clients and project teams. The role requires a minimum of 5 years' project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry, a related degree, and strong knowledge of NEC and codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Familiar with NEC and local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural plans and electrical blueprints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera for construction schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project construction schedules.
• Submit RFIs to clients.
• Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects.
• Act as main point-of-contact for project personnel.
• Coordinate meetings, updates, deliverables, and open items.
• Prepare look-ahead documents and progress/billing reports.
• Review job costs against budgets.
• Prepare labor and material cost estimates.
• Attend field walk-downs with customers and subcontractors.
• Assist in change orders and cost understanding.
• Regular attendance and compliance with Code of Conduct.
