Job summary
Midé Technology, a Hutchinson Company, located in Woburn, MA, is seeking a Project Manager II to guide technical projects from concept through delivery. You will collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure projects stay on time, on spec, and on budget.
The role requires hands-on PM experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with project-management tools. You will liaise with clients and internal teams, helping define scope and manage risks across multiple programs.
Qualifications
- Requires 3+ years of project management experience.
- Ability to interpret flowcharts, schedules and action plans.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent client-facing and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with risk management and QA controls.
- Hands-on experience with PM tools (Jira, Basecamp, MS Project, Trello).
- PM Certification preferred.
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferred.

We deliver innovative products and solutions to our customers in US government agencies (Department of Defense, NASA, etc.), and throughout the commercial sector. With areas of focus including propulsion shaft seals for naval vessels, piezoelectric devices, shock and vibration sensors and software, and IOT-enabled smart systems we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that provide value to our customers.

Midé has successfully transitioned a number of its R&D programs to successful product lines ranging from wireless data loggers to critical safety seals used on US Navy ships.
The PM II position will help manage the various technical projects we have. They will work closely with the technical project leads and engineering department heads on all phases of a project to ensure the success of our projects by being on time, on spec, and on budget.

- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
- Break projects into doable actions and set time-frames
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
- Assist with identifying project goals
- Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
- Ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
- Help prepare budgets

- Oversee project procurement management
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Work with the Director Project Management and the relevant project team members to eliminate blockers
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports

- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira, Basecamp, MS Project, or Trello)
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies highly preferred
- BS or BA Business Administration or related field
- 3+ years of related experience in project management
