Job summary

Mano Lani LLC is seeking a Project Manager II in Washington, DC to plan, coordinate, and oversee facilities and infrastructure projects supporting mission-critical operations.

The role manages schedules, facilitates stakeholder coordination, tracks execution, and monitors performance metrics from planning through completion. Collaboration with government personnel and contractors is essential to ensure on-time, quality results with an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Facilities IMS, tracking milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate facilities projects, walkthroughs, and schedules with customers and Program Managers.
  • Support move management by reviewing MTLs, verifying data, and tracking completion.
  • Coordinate events and support continuity of operations during disruptions or emergencies.
  • Maintain facility asset inventories and update maps using AutoCAD.
  • Review facility designs and support repairs, renovations, and improvements.
  • Conduct site visits, identify issues, and provide reports with corrective actions.
  • Monitor project metrics and prepare monthly facilities performance reports.
  • Track Service Desk requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements.

Overview

Job Title: Project Manager II Location: Washington, DC The Project Manager II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing facilities and infrastructure projects that support mission-critical operations. This role manages project schedules, facilitates stakeholder coordination, tracks project execution, monitors performance metrics, and supports facilities operations from planning through completion. The Project Manager II works closely with government personnel, customers, service providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, meet quality standards, and support operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the Facilities Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring project milestones, dependencies, and deadlines are accurately tracked.
  • Coordinate facilities projects, walkthroughs, and schedules with customers, service providers, and Program Managers.
  • Support move management activities by reviewing Move Task Lists (MTLs), verifying data accuracy, and tracking project completion.
  • Coordinate command events and support continuity of operations during facility disruptions or emergencies.
  • Maintain facility asset inventories and update electronic location maps using AutoCAD.
  • Assist with the review of facility designs and support repair, renovation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct project site visits, identify issues, and provide reports with recommended corrective actions.
  • Monitor project metrics, respond to data requests, and prepare monthly facilities performance reports.
  • Track and follow up on Facilities Service Desk requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet customer requirements.
  • Operate Government-Owned Vehicles (GOVs) as required to support contract performance.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal government programs.
  • Familiarity with facilities, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
Security

Requires the applicant to possess and maintain an active Secret clearance for the position.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
