The University of Miami is seeking a Project Manager I to work on-site at the Coral Gables campus. You will support the PMO in delivering complex, enterprise-wide projects that advance student success, academic excellence, and institutional growth.

You will collaborate with university leaders, faculty, and staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while mentoring others and growing your project management career.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant project management experience.
• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, technical proficiency, and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Document project creation, scope, budget and justification.
• Lead and manage multiple projects with PMO support and oversight.
• Coordinate interdependencies and communicate risks and status.
• Mentor staff in leadership, methodology, tools, and relations.
• Identify PM training needs and readiness; recommend courses.
• Train PMs for planning, execution, delivery and support.
• Conduct project reviews and assess project health.
• Highlight key issues to stakeholders and drive resolution.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of PM team members.
• Maintain current industry knowledge on PM excellence and innovation.
• Follow university policies and safeguard assets.
