Job summary

Miami University is seeking a Project Manager “Construction” within the Planning, Architecture and Engineering department to coordinate all phases of institutional projects, including new work and renovations. The role requires collaboration with diverse university partners, consultants, and contractors to deliver on-time, within-budget facilities.

The position is salary-based, 40 hours per week, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a full-time construction project manager (owner/architect/engineer) or a Bachelor's in construction/architecture/engineering with three years of relevant experience.
• Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to be a qualified driver under the Universities MVR policy.
• Experience with CPM scheduling and project management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from initiation to closeout with cost control, scheduling and coordination.
• Review budgets, bids, and payments; coordinate with procurement and consultants.
• Coordinate between trades, vendors, and end users to ensure timely completion.
• Prepare status reports and ensure compliance with university standards.
