Job summary

Eliassen Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Project Manager to support a Job & Skills Architecture initiative within HR. The role will manage an integrated project plan aligned with Workday timelines, drive milestones and deliverables, coordinate cross-functional workstreams and vendors, and maintain strong governance to enable readiness for Workday adoption.

This W2 contract offers medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project or program management experience.
• Experience leading HR transformation or HR technology initiatives.
• Experience managing third-party vendors.
• Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Workday implementations and HR operating processes.
• Preferred: Job Architecture experience and familiarity with HRBP, Compensation, or Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrated Job & Skills Architecture project plan with Workday alignment.
• Drive milestones, deliverables, and timelines to completion and track progress to schedule.
• Coordinate activities across stakeholders and external vendor partners at key milestones.
• Ensure alignment across JSA, Workday, Compensation, HRBP, Change, Communications, and Governance workstreams.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies and integration points and facilitate working sessions and decision forums.
• Maintain RAID log, identify emerging risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Escalate issues for leadership decisions and maintain decision and governance reporting.
• Coordinate deliverables and timelines with the external vendor and track action items through closure.
• Prepare materials for governance and sponsor meetings and deliver executive-level project health reporting.
• Produce weekly status reports, trackers, and dashboards per the program cadence.

Our client seeks a Project Manager to support a Job & Skills Architecture initiative within HR. The role will manage an integrated project plan aligned with Workday timelines, drive milestones and deliverables, coordinate cross-functional workstreams and vendors, and maintain strong governance. The contractor will facilitate stakeholder sessions, manage RAID and decision logs, prepare executive materials, and provide project health reporting to enable readiness for Workday implementation and adoption of the JSA framework.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
