Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Team as a technical resource for heavy lifting, specialty rigging, and risk management. You will support field assessments, design calculations, and coordination of lifting solutions to meet customer needs.

The role involves performing field walk downs, learning Barnhart equipment, and acting as a technical liaison for critical lifts while ensuring safety evaluations and risk controls are in place.

Qualifications

• Experience applying engineering principles to field projects.
• Ability to perform preliminary design calculations under supervision.
• Familiarity with risk assessment for heavy lifts and critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform field walk down assessments of jobsites to facilitate office layouts of jobs in AutoCAD to perform heavy lifts / transports.
• Obtain working knowledge of Barnhart heavy lift and specialty rigging equipment to provide solutions to customer needs.
• Perform minor design calculations and develop details under the direction of a senior design engineer.
• Function as technical liaison for critical lifts - includes risk management functions and safety evaluations of projects.
