Job summary

Metric Geo in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil construction focused on water and wastewater infrastructure. You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing budgets, schedules, procurement, and client relationships.

You will work closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to specifications, while managing stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery of complex municipal projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on heavy civil projects.
• Experience delivering water/wastewater infrastructure and utilities.
• Strong scheduling and cost-control understanding.
• Clear communication with municipal clients and engineers.
• Design-build or CMAR experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting and reporting.
• Coordinate Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract agreements and material deliveries.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applications.
• Build strong relationships with owners, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Identify constructability issues and resolve challenges with field teams.
• Monitor self-performed work, production rates and project costs.
• Maintain safety and quality standards through project closeout.
