Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Mid Level Project Manager for heavy civil construction in Aurora, CO. This in-person role involves overseeing multiple projects, guiding a Project Engineer, and managing financials such as tracking, billing, and change orders.

You will work closely with superintendents and subcontractors to keep schedules and costs aligned. Applicants should have 5+ years in heavy civil PM, DOT experience, and a background in concrete construction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management in heavy civil construction.
  • DOT project experience required; state DOT experience preferred.
  • Heavy concrete or structural concrete construction experience required.
  • Ability to build and maintain CPM schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera.
  • Strong budgets, job costing, and project documentation knowledge; BS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple concurrent projects based on size and complexity.
  • Lead and support a Project Engineer and coordinate with other Project Managers.
  • Own project financial management including job tracking, billing, change orders, and monthly forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers to build and maintain project schedules.
  • Process RFIs and manage complete project documentation.
  • Assist with estimating and pricing change orders across active projects.
  • Maintain strong client and trade partner relationships throughout the life of each project.
  • Support project safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance.

Aurora, CO | In-Person | $100,000 to $130,000 /yr | Full-Time

A well established and growing heavy civil construction company with a strong regional reputation is hiring a Mid Level Project Manager to join their team. What You'll Do:
  • Manage and oversee multiple concurrent projects depending on size and complexity
