Job Description

One of our direct clients is looking for a Project Manager with a healthcare background. The key responsibilities include:

1. Leading and developing a team focused on delivering a superior customer experience.
2. Mastering the capabilities of the software and advising customers on effective implementation.
3. Managing complex or multiple projects ensuring quality delivery on time, within budget, on schedule, and within scope.
4. Creating and maintaining project plans and governance artifacts.
5. Identifying resources needed and tracking resource plans.
6. Adhering to project methodology and standards.
7. Monitoring project risks, action items, and issues.
8. Communicating project status, issues, and mitigations proactively to stakeholders.
9. Developing client relationships to leverage future opportunities in conjunction with Account Management.
10. Partnering with client stakeholders to ensure project or program achieves business goals.

Qualifications

Requirements include:

1. Knowledge of Life Insurance (Individual/Group, Long Term Care, Universal Life), Medicare Supplement, or Annuities is a plus.
2. Customer management experience.
3. Understanding of business processes and financial transactions.
4. Advanced skills in MS Project, Excel, and Visio.
5. PMP and/or other project management certifications are a plus.
6. Knowledge of CMMI process integration and product improvement is a plus.
7. Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields from an accredited institution is advantageous.
8. Travel required - up to 10% at client site.
