Job Description

Responsibilities:

Manage Six Sigma process improvement projects within the mortgage loan origination domain; collaborate with business and IT teams to understand needs and ensure successful project delivery.
Develop and track project management deliverables such as schedules, status reports, resource plans, risks, and issues logs.
Analyze and communicate issues and risks related to projects.
Lead projects from both business and IT perspectives; set clear expectations for milestones and manage teams accordingly.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing projects on both IT and business sides.
Experience managing Six Sigma business process improvement projects.
Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a MUST.
Mortgage loan origination or banking industry experience.
Strong project management discipline, including risk and issue management, scope control, and schedule management.
Prior consulting experience in a large corporate environment.
Ability to adapt quickly, manage tight deadlines, and maintain strategic oversight.
Understanding stakeholder objectives and aligning project goals accordingly.
Ability to build and lead project teams effectively.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
Ability to influence and manage difficult stakeholders.
Leadership, assertiveness, and strong interpersonal skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
PMP certification is a plus.
