Lewis James Professional is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for a consulting engagement with a financial services client in the Atlanta area. You will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage scope, timelines, and budgets to achieve strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience in banking or financial services, strong communication skills, and an ability to navigate regulatory requirements while driving stakeholder alignment and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory and risk frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with business and technology teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of projects across various business lines.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and technology teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure cost-effective delivery.
• Provide regular status updates, reporting, and presentations to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
• Support organizational change initiatives, including communication strategies and stakeholder adoption.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants as needed to support project delivery.
