We are looking to bring on a strong Project Manager that has experience with VA Hospitals, NAVFAC, USACE, CPS or something similar. With the current backlog, we need a PM or SPM who is already well-versed within Federal work and the contracts/regulations that go along with it.

Job Details

The Project Manager (or Senior Project Manager) will be in charge of all federal/government related projects. This person must come with that prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of Federal/Government construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules, and monitoring progress against these plans.
• Coordinating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government officials.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks and issues, and developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Managing project resources and budgets, and providing regular status reports to senior management.
• Ensuring all project documentation is maintained accurately and is compliant with company and government regulations.
• Implementing and managing project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Evaluating project outcomes and providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on Federal/Government projects.
• Proven experience dealing with government contracts.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. An SSHO certification would be a plus.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
