Job description

Opportunity

Lead fast-moving restaurant and hospitality projects that combine architecture, interiors, technical problem-solving, client leadership, and real project ownership. This role is designed for an experienced PM who enjoys turning brand standards and design ideas into thoughtful, buildable environments.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a technically strong, resourceful Project Manager to lead hospitality and restaurant work from early due diligence through construction and close-out. The role sits at the intersection of architecture and interior design and requires someone who can manage multiple fast-paced projects while staying close to clients, consultants, documentation, approvals, budgets, and the details that drive a successful opening.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Broad ownership. You will manage client, team, consultant, contractor, and vendor coordination rather than owning only one slice of the process.
  • Architecture + interiors. The firm specifically values experience leading both architectural and interior design projects, creating a wider design and technical scope than many PM roles.
  • Branded experiential work. Projects require thoughtful interpretation of brand and client standards rather than rote application, making judgment and adaptability important.
  • Technical influence. You will help resolve building-construction challenges, coordinate landlord and engineering requirements, guide documentation, and navigate approvals.
  • Fast project cadence. The position is well suited to someone who enjoys managing several active projects, deadlines, budgets, and stakeholders at once.
  • Visible client role. Strong client communication and organization are central to the position, giving the PM meaningful exposure and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple hospitality and restaurant projects in a fast-paced environment, coordinating clients, internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Manage project communication, coordination, schedules, and internal and external financial budgets.
  • Provide advanced technical problem-solving related to building construction and technologies.
  • Coordinate landlord requirements and multidisciplinary consultants, including MEP, structural, and civil engineers.
  • Guide existing-conditions site surveys plus entitlement, code, and accessibility reviews during due diligence.
  • Lead design development and construction-document preparation with the project team and external partners.
  • Navigate building and zoning departments to obtain project approvals.
  • Perform construction-phase services and project close-out.
  • Apply brand and client standards thoughtfully to project-specific needs.
  • Travel as required for project responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture.
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit with proven construction-documentation experience.
  • Experience leading both interior design and architectural projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and project finances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client communication, organization, and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Architecture licensure preferred.
  • LEED AP accreditation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with client standards and the ability to adapt them thoughtfully to project-specific requirements is preferred.
Skills & Technical Focus
  • Revit: strong working proficiency; construction-document development is specifically required.
  • Technical coordination
  • Building construction, landlord requirements, MEP, structural, and civil coordination.
  • Documentation: Design development, construction documents, code/accessibility review, due diligence, and site surveys.
  • Approvals + constructionBuilding/zoning approvals, construction-phase services, and close-out.
  • Project managementMultiple concurrent projects, client/team coordination, internal and external budgets, deadlines, and quality.Brand-focused work
  • Ability to navigate established standards while responding intelligently to site- and project-specific conditions.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The strongest candidate will be an architecture-trained PM who is equally comfortable in front of a client, inside a Revit model or construction-document set, and coordinating consultants through a deadline. They will bring calm organization to a fast project cadence, understand both architectural and interior scopes, and enjoy the practical challenge of delivering branded restaurant and hospitality environments across different sites and conditions.
