Stony Brook University seeks a Project Manager for Facilities Planning, based in Stony Brook, New York. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in hospital facilities planning or project management. You will oversee multiple projects, ensuring compliance with NYS procurement guidelines and coordinating project documentation.
The salary range for this position is $76,407 - $95,509 annually, along with generous benefits including location pay and health plans.
Project Manager for the Facilities Planning Department will provide project planning and implementation services working directly with the Associate Director for Facilities Planning. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and possesses a strong attention to detail. Must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently. Expertise in Microsoft Office is a must, with an emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Project Management Software is a plus. Must be able to work independently, as well as in a group, and be a self-starter with minimal instruction and oversight.

The salary range for this position is $76,407 - $95,509 per year. The above salary range represents SBUH’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. The specific salary offer will be based on the candidate’s validated years of comparable experience.
Some positions offer annual supplemental pay such as: location pay for UUP full‑time positions ($4,000).
