Job summary

Uhrig Construction seeks a Project Manager/Estimator with 5+ years of commercial construction experience to join our team. The role combines project management of commercial work with hands-on estimating, emphasizing accuracy and timely bids.

Work hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00am–4:30pm and Friday 7:00am–4:00pm. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package. The candidate should be organized, communicative, and able to develop subcontractor relationships to ensure profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates using unit costs, production rates, markup, take-off techniques, and trade math.
• Review drawings and specs, visit proposed sites, attend pre-bid meetings, and bid delivery.
• Monitor sales leads and pursue new client relationships.
• Assist Job Superintendent to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Attend pre-construction or job meetings as required.
• Participate in weekly bid meetings and job tracking for profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors; uphold company image.

Uhrig Construction is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator with 5+ years commercial construction experience to join our team. Must be willing to project manage commercial work as well as estimate. Excellent organization and communication skills. We are a growing company and we offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package. Position Summary: Responsible for the successful generation of revenue to ensure the profitability of the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates using knowledge of unit cost, production rates, mark up, profit, take-off techniques, and general trade math knowledge. This includes, but is not limited to, review of drawings and specifications, visits to proposed job site, pre-bid meetings, determination of quantity of materials and labor needed, collection of subcontractor estimates, and timely delivery of bid to customer.
• Monitor environment for sales leads and pursue new customer relationships.
• Provide necessary assistance and support to Job Superintendent throughout project to ensure customer satisfaction and job profitability.
• Participate in any required pre-construction or job meetings
• Attend weekly in-house bid meetings and job tracking in ensure job profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationship with subcontractors
• Maintain and encourage company image at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
