Job summary

Ruston Paving is seeking a Project Manager to lead estimation and management of projects from inception to closeout. Your role ensures profitable, safe, and timely execution with strong client and subcontractor coordination.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a construction-related field and at least five years of relevant experience, with proficiency in CADD and a commitment to safety and teamwork across our North Carolina offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of five years estimating, leading or managing construction projects.
• Experience with preparing estimates involving labor, materials, and equipment is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare proposals, bids, and documentation with proper interpretation.
• Oversee distribution of online RFPs and prospective projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and report on project costs and crew activity.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE usage, and safe equipment handling.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and employees.
• Perform calendar management, meetings, and communication duties.
• Assist in scheduling and resource planning with operations managers.
