Project Manager / Estimator – Asphalt & Civil Construction

An established civil construction business in North Carolina is looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to help drive its next stage of growth.

They're not just looking for someone to crunch numbers. They want an estimator who understands how jobs are built, where the money is made, and how to put together a competitive bid. The role could also suit a Project Manager with a strong estimating background who wants to take on more responsibility.

The Work

You’ll be involved in pricing and delivering a range of civil construction projects, including:

• Asphalt paving for residential subdivisions and housing developments.
• Commercial and industrial paving projects.
• Curbing, concrete and associated sitework.
• Selected DOT projects as the business expands into highway work.

Who Will Fit?

This role would suit an experienced paving or civil construction professional who understands estimating and wants to make an impact.

You could be:

• An Estimator ready to move into a Project Manager position.
• A Project Manager who enjoys estimating and understands job costs.
• Someone working in asphalt paving, commercial sitework, residential development or DOT construction.

Experience with Agtek, Bluebeam or Bid2Win is useful. Familiarity with Vista is a major plus, particularly for someone who can hit the ground running with project setup and cost management.

DOT experience is welcome, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
