Job summary

SLB in Houston seeks an experienced Project Manager to deliver new equipment, products, or services for external customers with accountability for project revenue and profitability. You will lead engineering, construction, and commissioning teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role requires 7–10 years in new equipment or modular projects, a bachelor’s in engineering, and familiarity with P&ID, GA drawings, 3D models, and Primavera. PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical).
• Experience in New Equipment Project / Modular Projects.
• Experience in Project Planning.
• PMI/PMBOK (PMP, PMI) certification is complementary.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and management for safe execution of projects with predictable cost, schedule, and performance.
• Lead cross-functional execution teams to deliver projects within cost, time and quality.
• Direct management of engineering, construction and commissioning execution teams for assigned project.
• Ensure compliance to product line standards, procedures, and knowledge sharing for project execution.
• Follow PMO execution protocol and reporting requirements.
• Responsible for overall project performance and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with the customer and organize project launch meetings.
• Ensure project controls including contract, claims, risk and change management are in place.
• Identify and mitigate changes to project scope via management of change (MOCs).
• Provide updates and forecasts for completion, cash milestones, margin, and resources.
