The ideal candidate possesses effective networking, communication, and organization skills to collaborate across various BC business units and with key clients and external partners to deliver at-risk projects using design-build (DB), engineering-procurement-construction (EPC), and construction management at risk (CMAR) models.

This position will work under the direction of an experienced IPD Senior Manager to execute environmental remediation, mitigation, and restoration/closure projects, as well as smaller industrial and municipal water/wastewater projects (<$5M) for private and municipal clients.

The ECS PM will collaborate with BC professionals in environmental science, engineering, compliance, permitting, cost estimating, operations/maintenance/monitoring (OM&M), and construction procurement to deliver solutions meeting BC's standards for safety, quality, risk management, and profitability. Key clients span production, distribution, and energy markets.

Primary duties include:
  1. Managing environmental and water/wastewater projects nationwide with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  2. Developing and managing project proposals, budgets, and schedules using BC's WorkSmart+ and Microsoft Project+.
  3. Utilizing environmental expertise to identify and develop solutions for contaminants.
  4. Working independently to meet client expectations and project goals, coordinating with ECS leadership.
  5. Writing and reviewing technical documents such as proposals, permits, work plans, and reports.
  6. Reviewing site plans and investigation data to develop environmental strategies.
  7. Building a professional network through industry engagement and conferences.
  8. Assisting leadership in developing new business opportunities.
  9. Maintaining project plans, SOPs, templates, and toolkits for efficient delivery.
  10. Coordinating work across disciplines and mentoring junior staff.
  11. Promoting company initiatives and values in project delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in civil/environmental engineering or science with 6-10+ years of experience in environmental remediation, mitigation, restoration, and closure projects, including smaller water/wastewater projects. P.E. or E.I.T. preferred.
  • Ability to manage diverse technical teams and deliver environmental solutions.
  • Experience in proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Growing expertise in environmental solutions with hands-on field experience preferred.
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
  • Experience with procurement and regulatory programs is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen.

Salary ranges vary by location, with comprehensive benefits offered. For details, see the full job posting on BC's website.
