Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage environmental and water/wastewater projects nationwide in collaboration with BC teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and oversee project proposals, budgets, and schedules using BC's WorkSmart+ and Microsoft Project.
  • Apply environmental expertise to identify and develop solutions for contaminants and media.
  • Exercise professional judgment to meet client expectations and project goals, coordinating with ECS leadership.
  • Prepare, review, and edit technical documents such as proposals, permits, work plans, and reports.
  • Interpret site plans, investigation data, and reports to develop environmental strategies.
  • Build a professional network through industry engagement and staying informed on trends and technologies.
  • Assist leadership in identifying new business opportunities by building client relationships.
  • Create and maintain project plans, SOPs, templates, and toolkits for efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate work across disciplines and mentor junior staff.
  • Promote company initiatives and values throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering or science; 6-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred.
  • Experience managing diverse technical teams and developing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Growing expertise in environmental solutions, with hands-on field experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols for environmental construction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • Experience with procurement, regulatory programs, and permitting is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% annually.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, self-motivation, and commitment to safety and quality.
