Job summary

Proclinical Group is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering projects in a fast-paced environment, transitioning from hands-on engineering to project leadership.

The successful candidate will manage product development from concept through delivery, coordinate across engineering, design, quality and testing, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality goals are met.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Background spanning mechanical, electrical, software, systems engineering.
• Experience transitioning from an engineering role into project management.
• Exposure to regulated or technically complex industries.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
• Experience supporting customer-driven product development programs.
• Systems engineering experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, design, quality, testing, and external partners.
• Monitor project risks and drive mitigation plans.
• Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, reports, and status updates.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and clients.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support proposal development and new project planning activities.
• Ensure adherence to established quality and project management processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will manage complex product development projects, work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
