Job Summary

The Project Manager will provide overall project management support, to plan, budget, monitor, execute and oversee all aspects of the project to ensure that scope, cost and project direction are maintained through the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Planning and defining project scope.
  2. Activity planning, sequencing and developing schedules.
  3. Risk analysis and managing risks and issues.
  4. Monitoring and reporting progress of scope and budgets, help develop clean shop release file and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation verify equipment selection and design and perform/coordinate required calculations and sketches to establish equipment design coordinates drafting for job.
  5. Ensure all required drawings are completed. Review customer mark-up prints and aid drafting for final approvals and shop release.
  6. Establish and track the cost budget for jobs by working with Sales Department and cost specialists.
  7. Maintain delivery schedule for job based on Customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, including coordination of drafting, purchasing, manufacturing and quality control.
  8. Coordinate all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job, including internal and external communications with customers, end users, sales reps, and outside consultants.
  9. Maintain change management, notifying sales and estimating departments when scope or design changes occur, and coordinate price revisions with the customer.
  10. Coordinate and update project documentation.
  11. Create project invoices via Excel for finance.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned, such as quotation/support, field/sales trips, and design engineering.
  13. Assist in designing and producing engineering drawings (valve assemblies, electrical diagrams, P&ID's, detailing equipment).
  14. Work from sketches, models, and verbal information to determine views, drawings, and details needed to complete assignments.
  15. Ensure final packs meet customer requirements: MDR, OM as required.
  16. Utilize CAD system to complete assignments.
  17. Ensure scope of supply is fully met without exceeding.
Education

Relevant Engineering degree

Knowledge/Experience
  1. Minimum 4 years of project engineering experience, including plant selection, budget development, control, QC, change management, and customer communication from design to delivery and installation.
  2. Understanding of fabrication standards (welding, ASME, PED, etc).
Desirable
  • Background in combustion and/or burner/boiler.
  • Experience in petrochemical and/or refinery sectors.
  • Site experience.
