Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex electrical equipment projects, including load banks, distribution, and temporary power solutions. You will design solutions, prepare quotes, and manage contracts from an operations perspective within the PMO.

Expect oversight of vendors, schedules, and progress reporting across domestic and international projects. The role requires multiple project life-cycle management skills, strong documentation discipline,

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial electric equipment field operations.
• Three+ years in electrical systems design or engineering.
• Three+ years of project management experience (PMP a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, prints, plans, and schematics.
• Proficient with computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel on average 50% and pass drug, alcohol, and security screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to stakeholders.
• Attend, plan, coordinate, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather, review, and document project requirements to define scope.
• Perform site visits to support quoting and execution.
• Determine equipment and services needed to generate quotes.
• Plan and coordinate project operations for successful execution.
• Track quality and reporting measures as appropriate.
• Create project plans, drawings, budgets, logs, reports, summaries, and lessons learned.
• Communicate progress and status to stakeholders and PMO.
• Follow standard operating procedures and support management as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
