Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Project Manager who will oversee diverse projects involving load banks, electrical generation, and temporary power solutions. You will quote projects, lead contracts from an operations perspective, and coordinate resources across multiple sites in the US, including international scopes.

The role requires strong organization, technical know-how, and leadership to guide vendors, staff, and customers through complex PMO processes while maintaining high-quality results

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electric equipment field operations experience.
• 3+ years of electrical systems design or engineering.
• 3+ years of project management experience (PMP cert. a plus).
• Able to read and comprehend technical documents such as manuals, prints, plans, and schematics.
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (additional languages is a plus).
• Ability to travel on an average of 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to various stakeholders.
• Attend, plan, coordinate, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Gather, review, and document project requirements to determine scope of work.
• Perform jobsite visits to support project quoting and execution.
• Determine equipment and services needs to generate project quotes.
• Plan and coordinate project operations for successful execution.
• Determine and manage project quality and reporting measures.
• Generate project documentation such as plans, budgets, logs, and reports.
• Provide data for timely communications to stakeholders on project progress.
• Follow standard operating procedures and assist management as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
