Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the project life-cycle including project planning, resource allocation, project execution, and project closure.
- Prepare and present project proposals, including detailed cost estimates, schedules, and contract agreements.
- Use Procore software for project management, including material takeoffs, bid preparation, scheduling, and cost control.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget, maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project deadlines.
- Lead and manage the project team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and electrical codes, regulations, and guidelines.
- Manage the relationship with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Implement risk management processes to identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical systems, cost estimating, job costing, and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency with Procore project management software.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering and Electrical Code Compliance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading project teams to successful project completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for making strategic project decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
