WeVote has an open volunteering position for a Project Manager, Donor Relations (~3 hours per week) to utilize existing skills and learn new ones while helping to strengthen American Democracy.

About Us

WeVote is a nonpartisan, get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a recipient of the Fast Forward nonprofit technology grant. We are a movement of over 120 volunteers building open-source mobile technologies to mobilize voters on Election Day. Our goal is to provide a complete voting experience in 8 minutes, including our app "WeVote Ballot Guide." More information is available at https://WeVote.US. We are a fully remote organization.

What You’ll Do

1. Run weekly Agile meetings for the Donor Relations team.
2. Assist with onboarding tasks for the Donor Relations team.
3. Facilitate communication within the team and with other WeVote teams, such as Marketing, Social Media, Newsletter, Analytics & Ads, Research, Internship Program, and Recruiting.
4. Collaborate with team members to assign tasks fitting their skills.
5. Review team work and suggest strategies for efficiency improvement.
6. Support and monitor team members’ OKRs, and train those unfamiliar with OKRs.
7. Follow up on deadlines, adjust schedules, and communicate changes.
8. Provide brief status reports via email and team newsletter on key projects.

Who You Are: Must Haves

• Availability of at least 1-2 hours weekly during core hours (M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your time zone).
• Desire to work with an established, successful team committed to strengthening American Democracy.
• Striving for personal excellence.
• Willingness to support and collaborate with volunteers.
• Located in the US and able to work 1-2 hours overlapping with US PT hours weekly.

Not Required but Nice to Have

• If you have more than 2 hours weekly, additional involvement opportunities are available.
