Job summary

MPI is seeking a Project Manager in Columbus to lead diverse commercial projects from preconstruction through turnover. You will own budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and complex coordination with internal teams and trade partners.

You will build strong relationships with clients and design teams, ensure safety and quality on site, and proactively manage risks to maintain performance. A clear path to leadership and growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Skilled in building trust with clients, trade partners, field staff, and design teams.
• Proficiency with industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Own the project lifecycle from preconstruction to turnover for commercial builds.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, buyout, and cost controls.
• Develop and manage schedules, coordinating internal teams and trades.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with field leadership to support safety, quality, logistics, and sequencing.
• Drive client/design-team communications and run OAC meetings.
• Identify risks early and implement strategic mitigation plans.
• Manage project closeout, punch, commissioning, and turnover deliverables.
