Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Grand Rapids, MI to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep projects moving on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction, strong reading of drawings, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and contract administration.
• Conduct and/or participate in project meetings and communicate action items clearly.
• Track project progress and provide consistent updates to clients and leadership.
• Coordinate field activities and work closely with site personnel to maintain project momentum.
• Help maintain high standards for safety, quality, workmanship, and professionalism.
• Assist with estimating, budgeting, value engineering, and project planning when needed.
• Manage project documentation throughout the construction process.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, turnover, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Build productive long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and project partners.
• Take ownership of problems and follow them through to resolution.
