Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a fast-growing construction client to recruit a Senior Construction Project Manager. This role leads a project team on data center and large commercial initiatives, driving schedules, procurement, and subcontract coordination to meet milestones.

The candidate should have 8+ years of construction project management experience with a reputable general contractor, excellent communication skills, and a strong technical background in MEP-focused data center work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in Construction Project Management with a relevant general contractor.
  • Strong technical background and relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Data Center project experience required, preferably MEP scopes.
  • Experience with relevant general contractors is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team in developing and managing the project schedule.
  • Drive task completion and coordinate stakeholders to meet critical milestones, including design, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, punch-listing, and closeout.
  • Oversee project scheduling and monitor construction site progress to ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
  • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors throughout various project phases.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans.
  • Maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Description

Profile
