Job summary

The Amatriot Group is seeking a Data Center Project Manager in the Dallas area to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects. You will coordinate facilities, infrastructure, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel to project sites may be required as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience in data center or infra environments.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, racks, cabling, networking).
• Experience managing multi-vendor data center projects and DCIM implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage project schedules across all phases (design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, decommissioning).
• Own project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Serve as primary contact for cross-functional coordination among facilities, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Support capacity planning and contribute to long-term data center strategy.

Target Salary Range*: $125,000 - $135,200

Role Overview

The Data Center Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of data center projects, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning efforts. This role works closely with cross-functional stakeholders—facilities, infrastructure, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
• Develop and manage project schedules across all phases: design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning.
• Own project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional coordination among facilities, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
• Support capacity planning initiatives and contribute to long-term data center strategy.
• Travel to project sites as required to support project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within data center or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects.
• Prior experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementations.
• Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical solutions to business requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
